The Ackley Community Foundation held its 2026 grant awards celebration at the Ackley Public Library on October 14, announcing the distribution of $11,753 in grants to four projects of organizations serving Ackley.
Details regarding each awarded grant are included here:

Vibrant communities
City of Ackley, Library – meeting room door replacement – $1,500
City of Ackley, Pool – building updates – $3,500

At the awards celebration, we also recognized the City of Ackley, who received a $1,500 grant to support the Ackley Development Commission. This grant was not awarded through the discretionary grant process but instead was made possible through the Doug and Rosie Lindaman Family Fund, a donor-advised fund held with the Ackley Community Foundation.
