AUSTIN, Texas – Winona State softball student-athletes Alyssa Woelfel and Jayda Berg were selected as 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Americans.
Woelfel was named to the 2026 CSC Academic All-America First Team, while Berg earned Second Team Academic All-America honors.
Woelfel, a junior from New Holstein, Wis., has a 4.00 GPA in marketing. As the NSIC Player of the Year, Woelfel led Winona State and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in almost every offensive statistic. Woelfel finished the season with a batting average of .406 and 78 hits with a slugging percentage of .651. Woelfel started in all 59 games for the Warriors, which helped her earn First Team All-NSIC honors.
Berg, a junior from Coon Valley, Wis., holds a 4.00 GPA with an allied health major.
