On Friday, Nov. 8, the West Hancock football team will host its third straight playoff game at Bob Sanger field with a trip to the state semifinals in the UNI-Dome on the line. The Eagles will face Woodbury Central in the third-round Class A matchup.

Top-ranked West Hancock (7-0) will take on Newman (4-3) in Mason City on Friday. The Eagles are ranked first by the Iowa High School Athletic Association while the Knights have dropped out of the rankings after being as high as 14th in class A, according to Bound IA.
