MASON CITY | After trailing 1-0, the Mohawk Hockey Club reeled off three straight goals en route to a 3-2 win Sunday over Sioux City.

After the Metros’ Skyler Beller scored less than four minutes into the game, Ethan McHenry, Zach Jimenez and Jacob Peterson all scored for the Mohawks. They held a 3-1 lead entering the third period.

Skylar Watt (2), Brett Despenas, Nate Lassise and Katrina Cornick all had assists for the Mohawks.

 In net, Parker Dondlinger turned away 37 shots. The Mohawks won despite being out-shot 39-21. The Mohawks have won four in a row heading into Tuesday’s 6 p.m. game at Waterloo.
