MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s cross country team is rated sixth in the opening USTFCCA NJCAA poll, which was released on Wednesday.

The Trojans ended the 2016-17 season in the eighth position after being rated all year.

NIACC rival Iowa Central pulled down the top spot in the poll, while Hawkeye Community College came in 17th.

NIACC will appear Saturday in the Ray Griak Invitational in St. Paul, Minn.
