The regular meeting of the Osage Unit #278 American Legion Auxiliary was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, following a 6:30 p.m. desert. Second Vice President Jacque Martin called the meeting to order. A motion was made by Sharon Anderson and seconded by Betty McCarthy to dispense with a quorum. Roll call was taken and the minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Dee Onken gave the treasurer's report. Chaplain Millie Mullenbach reported sending get well cards to Neva Angell and Jane Miller. Communications were as follows: A thank you note from Jenna Plotzke, one of our 2019 merit award recipients.

A motion was made by Sharon Anderson and seconded by Julie Voaklander to reimburse Millie Mullenbach for the cemetery planter.

A motion was made by Betty McCarthy and seconded by Millie Mullenbach to donate to the canteen fund for poppy makers.

Kelly Elliott, our new department auxiliary president, wants a list of our past girl staters for next year as Girls' State will be celebrating 75 years.

Past department president, Diana Shadduck, would like units to send in something that represents our unit and can go into a department 100th anniversary booklet.

Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
