We are commanded to cause no unnecessary pain to animals, but there is no Biblical prohibition against eating meat.

Jesus observed the annual Feast of Passover. The lamb sacrificed at Passover time was roasted and eaten as part of the requirements of the law (Exodus 12:8).

The body needs elements that a vegan diet struggles to equal a diet that includes at least some non-vegan food. A wise old maxim advises of moderation in all things.
If we weren't supposed to eat animals, they wouldn't be made out of meat.
eating animals is natures way of preserving food.

Those plants that vegans consume are living things too. People are omnivores we are to eat both plants and animals. However, I do have a "beef" with synthetic "meat" hard to tell what is in it and what negative health impact it may have on people. I wonder what will be next? Solyet green?
