Hopefully, many people were able to read the inspiring and uplifting article on the history of the "125-year-old Hanson Family Farm" (In Business cover story, March 18).
We fear the future of agriculture because of the direction it has already taken, in regard to the air we breathe...the water we drink....the food we eat. How enlightening to see a farm being transformed into an organic entity. It certainly couldn't have been easy, after years of applying chemicals and fertilizers, to take on this challenge.
Hopefully, in the future, we will have more farmers deciding, for the health of generations to come, this is really "the only way to farm!"
Kudos to Paul Hanson! Your family would be so proud of the legacy you are building!
