The Feb. 14 school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida was indeed another sad tragedy that took the lives of 17 people. But did you hear about the 10 children who were murdered in Iowa that very same day and very inhumanely at that? Probably not.

Why? Maybe because these murders were legal. Yes made legal by the highest court in America for any reason or no reason at all during the first nine months of a child’s life – greatly devaluing human life, the most innocent of human life. Planned Parenthood was responsible for most of those 10 murders that took place that day in Iowa, as well as most of about 4,000 abortion murders that happen every year in Iowa.

So what can be done to really make a difference? Since the tragedy in Parkland, some students have jumped on the bandwagon that would do away with the 2nd Amendment.

If these students really want to stop the killing of thousands of children every day and not just a dozen or so every now and then, maybe try this: March, protest, and lobby to ban the sale and use of sopher clamps, curette blades, suction catheters, and abortion pills – the tools of the abortionist, the tools that dismember and remove a living child from the safe place of his or her mother’s womb.

Or even better yet, march, protest, and lobby to end the legalized murder of unborn children that is on the scale of genocide. Return dignity and value to human life from the very beginning of life. The 25 percent of millennials who first attended an abortion clinic never had the opportunity to even attend their first day of school or celebrate their first birthday.
