CLEAR LAKE | No one was hurt after a truck collided with a train hauling ethanol in Clear Lake Thursday morning.
A Chevy Avalanche truck northbound on Buddy Holly Place collided with an eastbound Canadian Pacific train about 6:46 a.m. near Highway 18, the Clear Lake Fire Department said in a news release.
The truck ran into the locomotive, which dragged it 10 to 15 yards down the track before coming to rest against a power pole, according to the fire department.

The fire department said the driver of the truck, Robert Schick, 26, Clear Lake, was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation by the Clear Lake Police Department and Canadian Pacific Railroad. Both agencies provided assistance at the scene.
