Wanda Berding, 63, of Manly passed away Friday, July 5, 2019.
A Celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd Street NE, Mason City, IA 50401. Burial will be held at a later date. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the funeral at the chapel.
Memorials may be directed in care of Wanda's family.

Wanda Hendrickson was born June 3, 1956 in Wells, MN, the daughter of Gerald and Alice (Neubaur) Hendrickson. Wanda grew up in Mason City, graduating from Mason City High School in 1974. It was then she married the love of her life, Ron Berding, on September 14, 1974 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason City. The couple was blessed with two sons, Jason and Rob. For many years Wanda was a daycare provider and later worked for Rockwell International for ten years. In 1994 Wanda went back to school, graduating from NIACC and Buena Vista University with her Bachelors in Political Science – Criminology and a Bachelors in Human Services. This led her to Beje Clark, where she worked as a Residential Officer for almost 20 years.
Wanda enjoyed time spent with her family. In years past the family took camping trips, enjoyed picnics and cookouts together. She and Ron looked forward to trips to casinos. Wanda was an avid reader, and had creative hands that loved to make crafts. Wanda had a passion for gardening and plants. But most of all, Wanda loved her family and was a constant fan at her grandchildren's sports events. Time spent with them was treasured deeply.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ron; sons, Jason (Connie) Berding of Mason City and Rob Berding of Manly; beloved grandchildren, Brock, Ethan, Lincoln and Logan; mother, Alice Hendrickson; siblings, Linda (Rick) Dunham of Grand Island, NE, Cheryl (David) Rottinghaus of Nora Springs, and Mark (Danielle) Hendrickson of Hugo, MN; her brothers-in-law, Kenny (Pam) Berding, Jerry (Linda) Berding, and Gary Berding; her lifelong friends, Julie Hepperly, Nancy Young, and Cindy Paulus; special neighbor Dee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Those preceding her in death are her father, Gerald Hendrickson; her brother, Randy Hendrickson; a sister-in-law, Karen Berding; and her mother and father-in-law, Al and Irene Berding.
