Lula Mae June (Steinke) Metcalf Marsh, born June 1, 1924 to Edward and Leona Steinke, died July 1, 2019 at the age of 95 in Lexington, KY.
Mae was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy William Metcalf of 40 years; her parents; a sister; and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Malcolm Marsh of 33 years; 3 children, Lynne (Steve) Kracht, Scott (Deb) Metcalf, and Gail (Mike) Hall; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Mal's daughter, Pam Marsh; son, Malcolm O Marsh (Dianne); 1 granddaughter and 1 great-grandson.

During World War II Mae worked for the Flight Surgeon in Valdosta, GA, was a medical secretary and active in the Methodist church while living in Charles City, IA. Later, while living in Chanhassen, MN, she was an assistant at a pre-school, worked in the cancer research department at the Methodist hospital, and was active in church activities. She enjoyed all outdoor activities and loved to travel; making trips to England, Japan, Russia and the Scandinavian countries.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all.
Funeral arrangements are pending for a later date to be held in Chetek, WI.
