Beverly Jane Hicks was born on March 3, 1934 in Albert Lea, MN, daughter of Ford and Edna (Umlaudt) Hicks. Growing up, Beverly attended elementary school and middle school in Gordonsville. She graduated from Albert Lea High School, close to the top of her class. In school she was a member of the National Honor Society. On November 7, 1954 Beverly married the love of her life, Milo “Buck” Pangburn. To this union, a son was born, Don. Together the family made their home in Northwood.
