FOREST CITY | Two Forest City residents face felony charges after police allegedly found 42 grams of marijuana and a scale in their home.

Braylin Martez Blocton, 22, and Natalie Irene Formanek, 21, have each been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and failure to affix a drug tax stamp, both felonies; and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Forest City Police Department conducted a search warrant at their apartment in the 600 block of South Fourth Street on Nov. 6.

Officers found 42 grams -- or about a tenth of a pound -- of marijuana in a large safe, along with a scale and some cash, according to a criminal complaint.

Formanek posted bond and has been released from the Winnebago County Jail pending her next court appearance.

Blocton remains in the Winnebago County Jail on $10,000 cash or surety bond.
