MASON CITY - A Mason City woman is accused of assault after she allegedly grabbed another woman’s neck.
Ravin Jemima Marshall, 38, is charged with misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury or mental illness following an incident in the 1100 block of North Ohio Avenue in Mason City.
About 4:31 a.m. Monday, Marshall allegedly grabbed a woman’s neck, causing scratches to both sides, court documents said.

“Ravin told the victim she was lucky because Ravin was not going to kill her,” a Mason City police officer wrote in charging documents.
Marshall was arrested and booked in Cerro Gordo County Jail Wednesday. She is no longer in custody, according to jail records.
No court date has been set.
