THORNTON - A Plymouth woman was arrested after allegedly assaulting a male acquaintance.
Annette Ann Cockrell, 53, was charged with misdemeanor domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental illness - first offense.
About 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Cockrell allegedly went to a man’s residence on the 300 block of Second Street North.
A third person was at the home, and a dispute occurred between the three, court documents said.
During the incident Cockrell allegedly pulled him, threw a curtain rod at him and slammed a door into his head causing a laceration.
The man “complained of head pain and the laceration was bleeding.”

Cockrell is scheduled to appear June 1 in Cerro Gordo County District Court.
