CERRO GORDO COUNTY | A North Iowa woman was injured after her truck rolled over in rural Cerro Gordo County Friday morning.

The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff's Office said Allison Kraft, 30, of Joice, was driving a 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty southbound on Balsam Avenue, near 304th Street, when she lost control due to the frost-covered road. The vehicle rolled. 

Kraft was transported to Mercy Medical Center--North Iowa for a head injury and pain in her upper torso, the sheriff's office said in a news release.

She was treated and released as of Friday afternoon, a Mercy spokeswoman said. 

Balsam Avenue was 100 percent frost and ice covered at the time of Kraft's crash, according to the sheriff's department. Her truck was a total loss. 

Fire and EMS services from Fertile, Hanlontown, Forest City and Mason City assisted at the scene.
