NORTHWOOD | A North Iowa man is accused of breaking the screen of a gaming machine at Diamond Jo Casino early Saturday morning.

Dion Wesley King, 55, is charged with felony second-degree criminal mischief. Court documents list both a Manly address and a Mason City address for King.

About 2:15 a.m. Saturday, the Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Diamond Jo Casino to report vandalism, according to a news release.

A deputy viewed damage to a gaming machine.

“When I arrived, I was informed that a patron had repeatedly punched a touch screen on one of the gaming machines, causing the screen to break,” the deputy wrote in charging documents.

The deputy reviewed video of the incident, showing a man hitting the screen with his fist multiple times, court documents said.
