NORA SPRINGS | A Nora Springs man is accused of entering a home and stealing a TV before being removed by a family member.

Darrian Troy Moorehead, 22, is charged with felony third-degree burglary after an incident in the 22000 block of 290th Street in Cerro Gordo County, near Nora Springs.

At about 6:45 p.m. June 10, court documents say Moorehead allegedly entered an unoccupied residence and stayed there, violating a no-contact order.

When Moorehead was discovered, law enforcement said he took a TV and other items when a family member removed him from the property.

He was arrested June 18 and booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail, where he is being held on a $5,000 bond.

Moorehead is scheduled to appear in Cerro Gordo County District Court July 10.
