VENTURA | A Montana woman was arrested for assaulting a woman she knew in December 2017 at a residence in Ventura.
Kassidee Starr Caunt, 25, of Kalispell, Montana, is charged with felony domestic abuse assault -third or subsequent offense following an incident on Dec. 17, 2017.
About 4:33 a.m. on the 100 block of West Lake Street, Caunt is accused of hitting a woman with her hand, ripping hair out of the woman’s head, biting the woman’s arm and scratching her right forearm and forehead.
Court documents said Caunt has two prior convictions related to domestic abuse, one in November 2015 in Whitefish, Montana and another in April 2017 in Flathead County, Montana.
A statewide warrant for her arrest was issued Dec. 18.
Caunt was arrested April 1 by Clear Lake Police on the same 100 block of West Lake Street where the incident took place.
A no contact order was filed Monday.
Caunt is in Cerro Gordo County jail on a $5,000 bond.
She is scheduled to appear April 12 in Cerro Gordo County District Court.
