Mason City woman arrested for Minnesota warrant, meth pipe

MASON CITY | A Mason City woman was arrested at a local convenience store on a Minnesota warrant.

Cayla Joe Graupmann, 29, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at the Yes Way Highlands location, 637 12th St. Northeast.

According to court documents, Mason City Police arrested Graupmann for an outstanding Minnesota warrant. During a search, officers found a glass methamphetamine pipe.

Graupmann is wanted in Minnesota for probation violation, court documents said. She pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor theft - false representation charge in Dakota County District Court.

Graupmann was sentenced in June to 37 days in jail with credit for time served and one year of probation.

Graupman immediately made a guilty plea to possession of drug paraphernalia during her initial court appearance Thursday. The court sentenced her to two days in jail with credit for time served and did not issue a fine.

She is serving her sentence in Cerro Gordo County Jail, according to jail records.
