Mason City woman arrested for biting, pushing man


MASON CITY - A Mason City woman is accused of biting a man in a domestic incident in her apartment, police say. 

Lisa Alyn Schulz-Peterson, 53, was charged with domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury - first degree following an incident in her apartment on the 1100 block of Fourth Street Southeast.

At about 8:41 p.m. Nov. 25, court documents Schulz-Peterson allegedly pushed a man and bit his wrist, leaving a welt. 

Schulz-Peterson was arrested by Mason City police, booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail and released on her own recognizance following a court appearance Monday.

As a condition of her release, Schulz-Peterson must follow a no-contact order issued Monday, court documents said. 


She is scheduled to appear in Cerro Gordo County District Court Dec. 14.
