MASON CITY - A Mason City woman was arrested for criminal trespass Thursday after loitering in the Burger King parking lot and resisting arrest, according to police.
Tia-Lisa Ann Schlake, 36, is charged with misdemeanor interference with official acts -- bodily injury and trespass following an early morning incident at Burger King, 2310 Fourth St. S.W.
Police were called to the fast food restaurant about 5 a.m. for a report of someone parked in the lot for about three hours.
“Employees wanted her to leave the property,” the criminal complaint said. “Schlake was asked to leave several times and refused.”

While Mason City police arrested her for criminal trespass, court documents said she attempted to get away from two officers and "needed to be taken to the ground." One officer received a minor injury.
Schlake was booked in Cerro Gordo County Jail. She was released on her own recognizance following her initial court appearance.
She is scheduled to appear in Cerro Gordo County District Court April 13 for the interference with official acts charge.
Schlake pleaded not guilty to the trespass charge and will appear in court for a non-jury trial Sept. 27.
