MASON CITY | A Mason City man was arrested early Saturday morning in a parking lot for possessing methamphetamine.

Jason Wayne Robison, 44, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance-second offense and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident in the Hy-Vee parking lot on the 500 block of South Illinois.

About 4:29 a.m. Saturday, Mason City Police allegedly found Robison carrying a silver vial containing methamphetamine. The vial was tied onto the hooded sweatshirt he was wearing, court documents said.

Police also found a red hollowed out ink pen containing crystal drug residue in his front jean pocket.
