At about 11:27 p.m. Monday, Hamilton is accused of pushing a woman at a residence on the 900 block of 16th Street Northeast.

The push resulted in a scratch on the side of her neck and an abrasion to the underside of her upper lip, court documents said.

Hamilton was arrested and booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail. He was released on his own recognizance after his initial court appearance Tuesday.

A no-contact order was issued the same day.

Hamilton is scheduled to appear in Cerro Gordo County District Court Oct. 15.
