Mason City man arrested for kicking a woman in the head


MASON CITY | A Mason City man is accused of kicking a woman in the head Sunday afternoon.

Crisstian David Jacobs, 18, was charged with misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury.

At about 3 p.m. Sunday, Jacobs confronted a woman in the parking lot of Westside Manor Apartments, 2401 S. Taft Ave.

According to court documents, Jacobs kicked and hit the woman in the head causing a “couple of lumps on the right side of her head.”

Jacobs was arrested, booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail and released on his own recognizance following a court appearance Monday. 


He is scheduled to appear in Cerro Gordo County District Court Dec. 14.
