MASON CITY - A Mason City man was arrested for dealing more than 12 grams of meth to an informant in June and July.

Ryan Lynn Hanson, 35, was charged with four felony controlled substance violations.

The incidents allegedly occurred at his residence on the 800 block of North Connecticut Avenue where Hanson is accused of delivering methamphetamine on four occasions to a confidential informant who was under the control of an agent from the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force.

At about 6:52 p.m. June 13, Hanson allegedly delivered about 1.7 grams of meth. 

According to court documents, Hanson delivered about 2.8 grams of meth to an informant in the late evening June 26.

At about 5:54 p.m. June 28, Hanson allegedly delivered about 6.3 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant.

Hanson delivered another 1.7 grams of methamphetamine to an informant in the evening July 2.

The criminal complaints were filed Dec. 12 and a nationwide warrant for his arrest was issued the next day.

Hanson was arrested Dec. 14 by Mason City Police and booked in Cerro Gordo County Jail where he is held on a $50,000 bond.

No court date has been set.
