At about 2:46 p.m. Sunday, Krueger allegedly approached a person while they were sitting outside on the apartment of their patio, court documents said. Police didn't specify if the person was a man or woman.

According to court documents, Krueger became confrontational with the person and began to punch the person in the face, causing pain, discomfort and swelling, the criminal complaint said.

Krueger was arrested, booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail and was later released on his own recognizance following his initial court appearance Monday.

He is scheduled to appear in Cerro Gordo County District Court Sept. 28.
