FOREST CITY | A woman accused of being at a drug gathering in a Forest City apartment while children were present has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.
Chelsea L. Harp, 32, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor methamphetamine possession and was sentenced to two days in jail. She must pay a $315 fine, and her driver's license has been revoked for 180 days.
A felony charge of gathering where drugs are used was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
On Feb. 15, court documents state Harp and a number of other people were at an apartment in the 100 block of Cathedral Oaks Road where drugs were being used.

Two children under age 3 were in the apartment during the gathering, according to the Forest City Police Department.
Police originally charged Harp, along with others present, with misdemeanor child endangerment.
However, the Winnebago County Attorney's Office did not file that charge against any of the defendants except for the children's father, Zachary A. Monsen, 30, Forest City.
