CLEAR LAKE | A Clear Lake man has been arrested after police said he assaulted a women he knew, held her against her will and threw cell phones out the window to prevent a 911 call Friday.
Justin Tyler Post, 22, was charged with misdemeanor domestic abuse assault-first offense, false imprisonment, violation of a no-contact order and obstruction of emergency communications.
Police say Post grabbed, bit and caused other visible injuries to the woman before 7 p.m. Friday at a home in 1100 block of Buddy Holly Place in Clear Lake.
Court documents say after assaulting the woman, Post held her “against her will in the bathroom of the residence by sitting in front of the door, not allowing her to leave.”
Post is also accused of taking cell phones from two other people in the house and throwing them outside into the snow when he was made aware the people were going to call police, court documents say.

A non-jury trial for obstructing emergency communications is set for July 10.
