Terrionce C. Kitchen, wanted for the killing of Desavion Foster in May in Rock Island, was arrested in June in Arkansas. He has been returned to Rock Island County to face the charge against him. 

The Scott County Attorney's Office has announced its decision in an officer-involved death. Jason James Morales died after a June 8 encounter with a Davenport police officer investigating a suspicious person report.

The Iowa Supreme Court has affirmed the conviction of Stanley Liggins in relation to the killing of 9-year-old Jennifer Lewis in 1990. The supreme court ruling related to the fourth time Liggins has been tried for Lewis' killing.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jose Alejandro Mejia-Martinez.

Edgar Alonzo-Rosales, 23, Moline, faces multiple charges for an April 24 shooting in Moline that left a Davenport man wounded. He was initially at large, but is now in custody.

The Rock Island County Coroner has released the name of a man who died early Saturday at the hospital after being shot outside a Rock Island home.
