BRITT | A Britt man is accused of possessing pornographic images of female minors on his computer.

Seth Edward Buck, 37, pleaded not guilty Monday to three counts of felony sexual exploitation of a minor — promote film and four counts of misdemeanor purchase/possess depiction of minor in a sex act — first offense.

According to court documents, investigators with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office found four images of female minors engaging in prohibited sex acts on Buck’s computer after it was seized during a search warrant on June 15, 2016.

The documents also state between Feb. 4, 2016, and June 15, 2016, Buck possessed a computer program that contained images of female minors performing prohibited sex acts.

Buck was arrested on a warrant Tuesday, March 27, in Britt by Hancock County sheriff's deputies.

He was released from the Winnebago County Jail March 28 on his own recognizance.

A preliminary hearing, which was scheduled for April 12, in Hancock County District Court was waived by Buck, and he's requested an arraignment date be set, according to court documents. As of Monday, an arraignment date hasn't been set.
