The new addition to the Clear Creek Elementary School received an important upgrade this week.
Volunteers were called to help with the installation of new playground equipment in the midst of the construction of a $3 million preschool attached to the existing Clear Creek building.
Located just south of the new building, a large multi-leveled jungle gym and swings intended to be used by preschoolers and kindergartners was built with the help volunteers summoned by a post on the Clear Lake Community School District's Facebook page.

A representative of the playground equipment company was on hand to lead the group of volunteers to assemble and install the play set.
The new preschool is expected to be finished in time for the fall semester.
