CLEAR LAKE | Candidates for mayor and City Council will take part in "Chamber Candidate Chats" sponsored by the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce. The chats will be live video-streaming interviews for 10-minutes each.
Tim Coffey, president and chief executive officer of the chamber said, “This is a unique way for the candidates to reach a broad audience. The candidates will even be given the questions in advance so as to prove this is not a gotcha event.”
The schedule is:
Tuesday, Oct. 24, 4 p.m. — Mayor Nelson Crabb.
Wednesday, Oct. 25, 4 p.m. — Ward Two Candidates: Incumbent Tony Nelson, Bennett Smith, Ben Smith.
Thursday, Oct. 26, 4 p.m. — At-Large Candidates: Incumbent Gary Hugi and Dana Brandt.
The public can watch the chats live on the Chamber’s Facebook site, Facebook.Com/Clear Lake Area Chamber and will be available for later viewing on the same Facebook address and site. Coffey and Dan Nichols from CL Tel will do the interviews.
