Truck through ice

No one was hurt after a truck crashed through the ice on Clear Lake Sunday, the Clear Lake Fire Department said. 

CLEAR LAKE | A Cedar Falls man was not hurt after his truck crashed through the ice Sunday on Clear Lake.

An occupied white, four-door truck went through the ice on the Bayside part of the lake, between the shoreline and the island, about 12:11 p.m. Sunday, Cerro Gordo County Sheriff Kevin Pals said.

A firefighter was able to help the driver, John Juhlin, out of the vehicle, the Clear Lake Fire Department said in a news release.
