Waverly-Shell Rock 16, Forest City 2

The Forest City baseball team was crushed by Waverly-Shell Rock on Thursday, 16-2. The Indians could manage only three hits, and fell behind early, as Waverly scored four runs in the first inning, and seven in the second. 

Junior Derek Froendt pitched just 1 2/3 innings, and allowed six hits, six walks, and 10 runs. The Indians will play on Friday, at Rockford.
