Winnebago County Public Health reports COVID-19 cases tick upward

Julie Sorenson of Winnebago County Public Health provided a COVID-19 update to supervisors on Nov. 16, reporting a 14.2 percent positive test rate in the prior 14 days and 16 percent (with 56 positive cases) in the previous seven days.

Both numbers are up from the week before.

Of those eligible for COVID-19 vaccination, she said the county remains at 48 percent fully vaccinated, while the statewide average is 56 percent.
