The Osage softball team is relying on its six seniors to lead the way this season.
“We do have a lot of leadership and we all know the game of softball really well," said one of the seniors, Kourtney Chambers.
The team's goals include having a winning record, said Shelby Blake.
The Green Devils had a 10-15 record as of June 20.
“We are really energetic when we need to be," said Sammi Scharper.

Chambers said the Green Devils need to work on “staying focused and getting outs when we need to.”
Blake said her favorite softball memory is "all six of us (seniors) playing on the field together for three years.”
After this season, there will be a lot of spots on the varsity roster to be filled, noted Kate Mostek.
“I think we are just hoping to leave a good example for the younger girls," said Katelyn Halbach.
The seniors are teaching them "to stay positive through the ups and downs," said Olivia Dodd.
