ST. ANSGAR | A handful of Saint Ansgar girls basketball players received postseason accolades last week.
Jadyn and Hali Anderson were named to the Top of Iowa Conference All-Conference First Team after spectacular seasons, and Hali was also named an all-district selection in Class 2A's Northeast District.
Hali Anderson scored 15.5 points per game and led the Saints in assists (102) and steals (91). Jadyn Anderson averaged 14 points and led the team in three-point percentage (37) and free-throw percentage (74.7). She was also second in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.
Brooklyn Hackbart garnered a second-team selection in the conference. Hackbart averaged 10.9 points per contest and grabbed a team-high 166 rebounds. She also led the Saints with 41 blocks.
