Collin Kramer excelled against the Golden Bears on Friday, May 31, as a senior pitcher tallied a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts. 

The Saints scored four runs in the fourth and five in the fifth. 

The Saint Ansgar baseball team crushed North Butler on May 29, 9-0, improving its record to 4-1 on the season. The Saints allowed only two hits all game. 

Senior Collin Kramer pitched four innings, and didn't allow a hit. He walked two and struck out 12.

On offense, Saint Ansgar scored two runs in the first inning, and one in the second, to take a 3-0 lead. Two more runs came in fourth inning, and two more in the fifth. In the top of the seventh, the Saints struck again, giving themselves the 9-0 lead they would not relinquish. 

Mark Williams had a solid performance on the mound Wednesday, May 28, pitching 4 1/3 innings and striking out nine in Saint Ansgar's blowout 12-0 victory against North Union. Williams allowed only two hits.

The Saints started the week, at home, on Monday, June 3, against Northwood-Kensett. They traveled to Crestwood on Tuesday, June 4. The Saints host Newman Catholic on Wednesday, June 5, then travel to Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Friday, June 7.
