The Riceville softball team walloped Tripoli by a score of 18-1 on Friday, June 21.

The Wildcats got off to a blazing start, scoring six runs in the first inning, four in the second, and eight runs in the third inning, and the game was called after three innings.

North Butler won its second consecutive game Thursday, June 20, defeating Riceville by a dozen runs, 13-1. It was Riceville's seventh loss in its past eight games.

The Riceville softball team beat Northwood-Kensett by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday, June 18, improving the Wildcats record to 8-10, and snapping a six-game losing streak. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Vikings. 

The Riceville softball team lost a one-run ball-game to Dunkerton on Monday, June 17, 7-6.

Sophomore Josie Gansen allowed seven runs over 7 1/3 innings. The loss was Riceville's sixth straight defeat.

Riceville is now 9-11 on the season.

The Wildcats traveled to Colo-NESCO on Monday, June 24. They play at St. Ansgar on Tuesday, June 25. The Wildcats host Don Bosco on Thursday, June 27 and Turkey Valley on Friday, June 28. Riceville end the week on Saturday, June 29, when they host Collins-Maxwell and Newman Catholic.
