The Wildcats improved to 2-3, winning their second consecutive game, beating Tripoli by a score of 9-4, on Thursday, May 30.

Riceville, which faces Lake Mills on Saturday, June 1, scored six runs in the fifth inning to take the lead. The Wildcats trailed 4-1 after the second inning. 

The Riceville softball team beat Dunkerton by a score of 7-4 on Tuesday, May 28, as the Wildcats got 12 hits from their offense.

Riceville scored one run in the first inning, two in the second, one in the third, and two in the fifth. After Dunkerton scored three runs in the fifth to make the game a 6-3 affair, the Wildcats scored a run in the top of the seventh. 

Junior Kayln Jensen went the distance, pitching seven innings, allowing six hits, and four earned runs. 

The Wildcats hosted North Tama on Monday, June 3. They travel to GMG on Wednesday, June 5 and to Don Bosco on Thursday, June 6.
