OSAGE | The Riceville boys team had a tough outcome on Monday at the Co-Ed Invitational on April 1, finishing in last place, and scoring only three points on the day.

Logan Holman and Mitchel Marr finished 13th and 14th, respectively, in the 100 meter dash. Holman finished with a time of 14.35, while Marr came in at 15.27. Holman also competed in the 200 meter dash, where he placed 16th overall with a time of 29.96.

Sully Fair finished in the top-10 for the 1600 meter run, clocking in at 5:32.71.

The Wildcats had a couple of solid performances in the discus throw, as Joe Keeling threw it 88 feet, eight inches, and Marr was close behind at 86-09.

Charles City and Saint Ansgar won the overall team rankings, both finishing with 117 points. 

On Monday, the Wildcats were scheduled to travel to St. Ansgar at a meet for Nashua-Plainfield, Newman Catholic, North Butler, Northwood-Kensett CSD, Osage Green Devils, St. Ansgar and West Fork. Results were not available at press time. 

Tuesday night the Wildcats travel to Nashua-Plainfield with a meet against Central Springs, Clarksville High School, Dunkerton, Janesville, Nashua-Plainfield, Northwood-Kensett CSD and Turkey Valley.
