RICEVILLE | The Wildcats trailed 20-4 after the first quarter, which plagued them in their 26-point loss to the Huskies on Thursday, Dec. 18.

The final score was Nashua-Plainfield 58, Riceville 32.

Riceville and Nashua-Plainfield each scored 22 points in the second and third quarters.

Brody Koenigs had a team-high 10 points, shooting five-of-nine from the floor. Sullivan Fair had eight points. Charlie Ring had six points and 10 rebounds. 

On Friday, Dec. 21, Riceville traveled to GMG-Garwin, where the Wildcats were held to single-digit scoring all four quarters.

The final score was GMG-Garwin 55, Riceville 23.

Ring and Fair each scored eight points on the night for the Wildcats. Koenigs had 12 rebounds.

The Wildcats (1-8) are not in action again until Tuesday, Jan. 8, when they will host Tripoli (3-6.)
