The Northwood-Kensett Vikings put an exclamation point on their Friday, July 5 victory, scoring five runs in the seventh inning to down the Wildcats by a score of 10-5.

Judge Losee led the way with a pair of hits and an RBI. 

The Osage baseball team beat Riceville by a score of 4-0 on Tuesday, July 2, as junior Gavin Schaefer pitched seven innings of shutout ball. 

The Riceville baseball team beat Nashua-Plainfield on Monday, July 1 by a score of 5-2.

The Wildcats scored four of their runs in the final two innings of the game, to put the score out of reach for the Huskies. Junior Judge Losee hit a solo home run, one of Riceville's two hits. 

Sophomore Isaiah Hill went 5 1/3 innings, allowing four hits and two runs, with six strikeouts. 

The Wildcats will play at home on Tuesday, July 9 against Kee. They travel to Central Springs on Wednesday, July 10. The Wildcats start postseason play at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 when they take on North Butler at St. Ansgar.
