Riceville beat Collins-Maxwell by a resounding score of 17-0 on Saturday, June 29.

The Wildcats had 10 hits, including three from senior Kaleb Asfahl. Ryan Larsen got the win, by pitching two innings and allowing two hits.

The Riceville baseball team beat Turkey Valley by a score of 7-4 score, on Friday, June 28.

The Wildcats had eight hits in the game. Freshman Sully Fair was the starting pitcher, and went six innings, while allowing eight hits and three runs, with seven strikeouts.

Saint Ansgar claimed 12-2 run-rule victory against Riceville on Tuesday, June 25.

Collin Kramer and John May each went 3-for-3 in the victory. Kramer drove in three runs. Jack Sievert pitched four innings and allowed only two hits with two earned runs. May pitched a perfect fifth inning. 

Riceville got one hit from Sully Fair and Kaleb Asfahl. 

Colo-NESCO tallied two runs in the top of the sixth inning to break a tie and earn a 5-3 win over Riceville on Monday, June 24.

The Wildcats had six hits, including two doubles. Sophomore Isaiah Hill pitched four innings, and allowed four hits, with nine strikeouts.

Riceville traveled to Nashua-Plainfield on Monday, July 1. They will play Osage at home on Tuesday, July 2. The Wildcats finish the week at home on Friday, July 5, when they will take on Northwood-Kensett.
