OSAGE | The Osage boys track team kicked off its season in solid fashion, placing fourth overall in the Co-Ed Meet at Osage High School on Monday, April 1.

Several individual Green Devils athletes medaled, while Osage put on a big show in the team events. 

Gage Belz placed second in the 200-Meter Dash, with a time of 24.28, while Caleb Sledd earned the silver spot in the 3200 meter run at 10:52.35. In the 110 meter hurdles, Wesley Smith was a runner up at 16.47 seconds. Ben Miller finished second in the high jump, at 5-10.00.

The Green Devils had even more success in team events, as they won the 800 sprint medley, the distance medley, and the 4x110 meter shuttle hurdle. The distance medley team left no doubt, winning the event by nearly 11 seconds over runner up Charles City.

Monday night, the Green Devils traveled to St. Ansgar. Results were not available at press time.

Tuesday night, Osage travels to Clear Lake for a meet.
