The Osage girls team came out on top in a massive meet at Lake Mills on Monday, April 22. Competing against 12 other teams, the Green Devils took first place, with 129 points, with Saint Ansgar finishing second with 113. 

Meredith Street ran a 13.16 to win the 100 meter dash. She also won the 200 meter dash, with a time of 27.35, and the long jump, with a distance of 15-07.50. Green Devil Chloe Krebsbach won the 400 meter dash, at 1:07.28. Taylor Hanna, of Saint Ansgar, was close behind at 1:07.83. In the 800 meter run, Claire Huisman finished second, with a time of 2:45.74. 

Paige Kisely won the 100 meter hurdles, finishing in 15.76

Saint Ansgar runners Addy Carlson and Gracie Urbatsch finished 1-2 in the 1500, with times of 5:40.63, and 5:49.07, respectively. Carlson also won the 3200, by running an 11:53.38. Kennedy Kelly of West Hancock won the 400 meter hurdle, with a time of 1:15.18. Amanda Chizek won the shot put, with a mark of 37-04.00.

Osage took two of the top three spots in the high jump, as Ainsley Dodd, and Libby Schwamman each leapt 4-08.00.

Osage did well in the team events, as the Green Devils won the 4x800 meter relay, and finished second in the 4x100 and 4x200, and third in the 4x400 meter relay. The Green Devils also finished second in the 1600 distance medley relay.

With Saint Ansgar finishing second, they also had some impressive finishes. Taylor Hanna finished second in the 400 meter dash, at 1:07.83. The Saints also finished second in the 4x400 meter relay, with a time of 4:40.20. In the 4x800, the Saints had a mark of 11:24.79, good for second place.

Saige Sullivan of Riceville finished third in the 400 meter dash, finishing in 1:11.26. Julia Klaes was second in the 400 meter hurdles, at 1:16.43. Abby Marr won the discus, chucking the disc 119 feet. Marr was second in the shot put, tossing the sphere 36-08.50.

The Green Devils finished out the regular season on Monday, April 29, with a meet at G-H-V. Results were not available at press time.

They will compete on Thursday, May 2 in the Conference Meet being held at North Butler.
