On Friday, May 24, the Osage baseball team beat North Union by a single run, scoring a run in the top of the fifth inning, and holding on for the 1-0 victory. 

Osage managed only four hits, with two of them coming from Green Devils junior Zach Williams. Senior Brett Bobinet pitched five innings, and allowed only one hit on 96 pitches, and struck out 14 batters. Hayden Meek come on in relief for the final two innings, and allowed zero hits.

The Green Devils racked up 16 hits during their Wednesday, May 22 blowout victory against North Butler. 

Zach Williams and Hayden Meek each had three hits. Brett Bobinet had one hit and four RBIs. Five other players drove two runs in.

Gavin Schaefer pitched all five innings, striking out 10 and allowed three earned runs. 

North Butler's Levi Lubben had two of the Bearcats' seven hits. Brandon Reiher took the loss but allowed only two earned runs during his pair of innings. 

This week, the Green Devils host Bishop-Garrigan on Tuesday, May 28. On Wednesday, May 29, they travel to Northwood-Kensett and then to Newman Catholic on Friday,May 31.
