The Osage boys team came out on top Thursday, May 2, in a four-team match in Nora Springs.
The Green Devils shot a 186 as a team, while Rockford finished close behind at 189. In third place was Newman Catholic, who shot a 194.
Third-place was shared by three golfers, as Austin Efflandt of Northwood-Kensett, Kolton Lyman of Rockford, and Zach Duren of Osage each shot a 44. Ty Creger was sixth with a 46.

The Osage boys team scored a big victory in a quad meet on April 29, beating second-place Northwood-Kensett 183 strokes to 196. Nashua Plainfield finished third, with 210 strokes, while Riceville was last, with 230.
Osage's Shawn Eichmeier finished first overall after golfing a 44. Teammates Zach Duren and Gavin Schaefer tied with the Viking's Kaeel Julseth for second place, with both earning scores of 46.
The boys were scheduled to compete at the conference meet on Monday, May 6 at St. Ansgar. Results were not available at press time.
